Lead Workshop Operations Manager

The key objective of this role is to lead the workshop operations team in achieving safe, clean and reliable airport, urban, school and charter bus services.

A successful applicant will have a strong background in managing workshop staff and creating a positive work culture. They will also be able to influence continuous improvement across all workshop practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about leading teams and driving excellence in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day workshop operations
  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled mechanics
  • Champion continuous improvement across all workshop practices

Requirements:

  • Connection with our Values - Passion, Integrity, Respect, Authenticity, Humility
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) licence
  • Proven ability in managing workshop staff as well as influencing and creating a positive work culture
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) with the ability to learn our in-house systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse workforce
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC)
