Behaviour Support Practitioner

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our professional and friendly team. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will support clients with behaviours of concern and their families/carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space. Your goal is to ensure individual plans reflect clients' goals, passions and strengths.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients (NDIS participants) and their families/carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
  • Ensure individual plans reflect clients' goals, passions and strengths

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree level qualifications relevant to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern
  • Suitability with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Flawless writing skills
  • Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
