Payroll Advisor Role in Melbourne CBD

Randstad, a preferred partner with a reputable Government organisation, is currently recruiting for a high-volume payroll specialist. This role offers an attractive opportunity to work in the Melbourne CBD and enjoy hybrid flexibility.

Salary: VPS5 $69.41 per hour + super

About the Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Payroll Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional payroll services. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis, providing expert advice on salary, leave entitlements, and payroll policies, and resolving complex payroll issues autonomously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll processing, including generating import spreadsheets and maintaining systems.
  • Offer guidance on employee conditions and payroll-related matters to support the People & Culture and Workplace Relations teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll data, resolving complex issues independently.
Requirements

To be successful, candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in high-volume payroll processing, proficiency in ADP, and a strong understanding of payroll legislation and policies. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Screening Requirements

Candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and pre-employment misconduct screening as part of the hiring process.
