About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Compliance Specialist to lead our high-volume payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and best practices.

This role is focused on managing payroll governance, accuracy, and risk management while working closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and enhance seamless payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Compliance: Ensure adherence to Awards, Agreements, and legislation, while maintaining governance frameworks and troubleshooting.
  • Compliance Inbox: Address escalated payroll queries and third-party requirements efficiently.
  • Governance & Reporting: Assist with journal entries, payroll GL reconciliations, pay run variance checks, and process reviews.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in a high-volume payroll environment.
  • Expertise with large payroll systems.
  • Strong knowledge of complex leave calculations.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a customer-focused approach.
