Key Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the supply of reinforcing steel to various projects across multiple segments of the construction industry.

The successful candidate will interact directly with customers and internal departments, ensuring accurate supply of reinforcing steel to projects of all sizes. This includes coordinating customer requirements with Sales, Planning, Production, and Operations teams to accurately forecast customer construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate bar, cutting, and bending lists from structural and architectural drawings
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure drawings and production schedules meet their needs
  • Identify potential production or product solutions, negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs
  • Manage enquiries from customers regarding product status and delivery
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, internal, and external team members
  • Prioritize Workplace Health and Safety while maintaining a healthy work culture

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar scheduling-focused role
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to multitask
  • Previous exposure to engineering or construction and ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
  • Passion for building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient mindset
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam is highly regarded
