
Scheduling Coordinator

Scheduling Coordinator position at Bendigo Advertiser. This role focuses on monitoring, controlling and managing the schedule and planning of the technical workforce's day in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do- Monitor, control and manage daily schedules and planning for the technical workforce.
- Prepare for quick turnarounds and ensure activities are closed down efficiently.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with suppliers and customers; respond to immediate or emergency issues.
- Raise issues as needed to ensure jobs are completed on time; coordinate with engineers to ensure tablets are used correctly.
- Communicate with Meter Workers and Technical Managers to resolve any flagged issues.
- Based at the designated site with a 40-hour week on a 5-out-of-7 rotating schedule (07:30–16:00 and 09:30–18:00).
- Ability to work in an office setting with good judgment and decision-making under time constraints.
- Exceptional telephone manner and strong communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and desire to develop and progress within the organisation.
