About the Role:

As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements across various sectors.

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining compliance registers, supporting accreditation processes, and providing guidance to operational teams and stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with risk management functions, governance managers, and operational leaders to ensure organizational compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support accreditation applications, re-accreditation, and compliance audits.
  • Track compliance activities, maintain registers, and provide reports to senior leaders.
  • Act as a compliance advisor, providing guidance and training on regulatory obligations.
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance, risk management, or accreditation within aged care, health, or community services.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Standards, and industry accreditation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements to business operations.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Current National Police Clearance and a valid driver's license.
