Risk Assurance Manager

Role Summary:
The Prudential Assurance team is part of the 2nd Line Assurance function in Risk, responsible for the delivery of the 2nd Line Prudential Assurance program, covering all domestic Prudential Standards and Returns across the Westpac Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 2nd Line Prudential Assurance reviews over Westpac Prudential Standards and Reporting Standards in accordance with the annual plan.
- Generate key risk insights on the effective design and operation of controls to meet our Prudential obligations to APRA.
- Work with stakeholders across all Westpac Divisions and Lines of Business, key business partners including Group Audit, external audit, Divisional Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and other 2nd Line teams.
Requirements:
- Over 4+ years of assurance, audit or risk advisory experience in a financial services organisation.
- Market risk, treasury risk, credit risk or technology audit skills are highly desirable.
