About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Transformation Assurance Senior Manager to join our team at the Westpac Group. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will be responsible for delivering and executing assurance reviews to provide insight, oversight, and challenge of risk management in large-scale projects and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute assurance reviews to ensure the effective governance and quality of change execution risk within the UNITE Program.
  • Deliver thematic and deep dive assurance reviews that comply with the requirements of the 2nd Line Assurance Standard.
  • Partner and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure that delivery and delivered risks are effectively managed.
  • Produce effective and insightful reporting to program steering committees, risk committees, and governance forums.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in overseeing technology risk, project governance, risk management, and compliance in large-scale complex transformation projects.
  • Strong and practical understanding of project management methodologies and experience with project software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with producing and presenting insightful reporting to risk committees, governance forums, and program steering committees.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
