At ORS, we empower lives through meaningful employment opportunities. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Consultant to join our Inclusive Employment Australia – Mental Health Specialist division.
This role involves delivering tailored support to participants, working collaboratively with their supports and employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes. As an Employment Consultant, you will play a critical role in empowering individuals living with mental health conditions to succeed in their careers.
About the RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Providing services using evidence-based approaches such as the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model.
- Supporting participants throughout every step of their journey, from vocational profiling to placement and post-placement support.
- Working closely with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities and build strong partnerships.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
- Experience in employment services, mental health support or disability services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with participants, their supports and employers.
- Business development skills and local employer connections.
- A current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- The ability to obtain all required clearances.
