We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Manager to lead and develop our production and engineering teams, ensuring all orders are fulfilled to the highest quality standards.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and implementing improvement strategies to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, innovation, and sustainability within our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be a champion of lean manufacturing, six sigma/5s methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and project management. Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and CAD software would be desirable. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a track record in strategy development and execution, are also essential.
About the Role:
- Lead and inspire a quality culture across the business by supporting quality processes across product development, production, supplier inspections, and customer returns.
- Manage budgets for production and engineering, including headcount, equipment, and materials, to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare capital expenditure proposals for machinery purchases, including maintenance and service contracts.
- Develop and implement improvement strategies to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
