
Perioperative Nursing Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to take on a pivotal leadership role, where they will lead our Scrub/Scout team with clinical expertise and passion for leadership.
This leadership position requires maintaining high clinical standards, driving staff performance, managing resources, and achieving positive patient outcomes within the perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and operational guidance to the Scrub/Scout teams
- Manage daily operations including staffing, rostering, and resource allocation
- Ensure effective clinical governance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support staff education through orientation, graduate programs, and in-service training
- Collaborate with perioperative and hospital leadership to achieve strategic and operational goals
You are an accomplished perioperative nurse with strong clinical expertise and a passion for leadership. You may already possess management experience or be ready to step into a senior leadership role and make your mark within a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Essential Criteria- Current registration with a relevant governing body
- Minimum 5 years' postgraduate experience in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated expertise in Scrub/Scout nursing
- Proven ability to supervise, lead, and motivate staff
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant specialty or leadership/management
- Previous leadership experience within a perioperative setting
- Membership of a relevant professional organisation
