Job Opportunity

Lead a histopathology training program in two NHS hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver compliant training programs for Histopathology staff.
  • Support high-volume service processing 60,000 samples annually while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Contribute to daily training and development of pathology staff, collaborating with various levels of histopathology personnel.
  • Organize training for Histology staff under the direction of the service lead.
  • Establish a system to record training and development needs of Histology staff, meeting at least ISO 15189 standards.
  • Maintain competence and contribute in technical areas as required by the service.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and significant experience in Histopathology/Cellular Pathology NHS laboratories with training expertise.
