The role involves coordinating cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory strategy to ensure accurate and timely data for KPI reporting. You will collaborate with site-based inventory controllers to address customer requests and oversee strategic inventory activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site inventory controllers to resolve customer issues and ensure accurate DCM data for KPI reporting
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews with site inventory controllers to identify improvement opportunities and maintain consistency
  • Oversee and consolidate strategic inventory reports at the national account level, ensuring delivery to management and customers
  • Investigate and report on inventory discrepancies, managing annual and cyclical stock-taking processes
  • Analyse inventory velocity to identify fast- and slow-moving stock, recommending reclassification where necessary

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing warehouse inventory systems or operations. Your expertise in multi-site operations, cyclical/annual stock takes, and diverse SKUs is essential for this role.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Higher School Certificate or equivalent (tertiary or vocational qualification in logistics/supply chain desirable)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems to manage and control inventory
  • Effective analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills
  • A strong customer service focus with a proactive approach to work, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
