About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide social work services to students at Dakabin State High School.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Respond to student needs and collaborate with the Student Wellbeing Team to offer personal and family counselling, therapy, group work, referrals to allied health professionals, and service coordination to support student wellbeing and mental health.
  • Collaborate daily with the Student Wellbeing Team on reactive and proactive support for students at Dakabin State High School.
  • Coordinate procedures and documentation related to Indigenous support and school targets.
  • Operate in an advisory and advocacy capacity, providing services specific to the social work discipline.

About You:

This role requires high communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise with staff regarding Indigenous students' needs at a social and academic level.
