Deliver Personal Care and Support
This role is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in a supportive and caring environment.
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with our values.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
- Providing personal care, such as assisting with activities like showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Assisting with mobility support, helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Monitoring health, observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
- Supporting residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, working in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
- Adaptability, passion, and a willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled teamwork abilities.
- Friendly and effective communication skills.
