Job Summary:

We are seeking a Disability Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to individuals with psychosocial disabilities, mental health conditions, and neurodiversity in their own homes, community settings, and at appointments. They will work collaboratively with participants to develop personalized plans and deliver tailored support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to participants with complex needs
  • Developing and implementing person-centered plans to achieve participant goals
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on participant progress
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support/Disability or equivalent qualification
  • NDIS Clearance or Police Clearance & Working with Childrens check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Manual Handling, Medication Administration, Safe Food Handling certification
  • Reliable car insurance and Covid safe Training
