**Position Overview**

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and maximize their independence. This role involves providing daily assistance in activities, facilitating community involvement, and fostering a supportive environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and household activities
- Provide support for community access, including transportation to appointments, shopping, and recreational activities
- Encourage clients' independence by promoting skill-building and participation in social activities
- Implement individual care plans, adhering to each client's needs and goals
- Maintain accurate records and report any health or safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure quality support

**Requirements**:

- **Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent** (preferred)
- **Full driver's license** and reliable vehicle (required for most shifts)
- Valid **First Aid & CPR certification**:

- **NDIS Worker Screening Check** or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve clients' lives

Pay: $32.79 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
