**What do we do?**

Disability living (DLi) was established in 1984, providing long-term accommodation and support services for young adults with disabilities. Since then, we have expanded our services to cater for all ages offering In-home support, accommodation services, supported independent living and a variety of community inclusion services.

**What will you do?**

The Specialist Behavioural Support Practitioner Lead is responsible for providing guidance and clinical supervision to the Behavioural Support Practitioner. Actively promoting and expanding services which build independence and quality of life for people accessing disAbility Living's services. The Specialist Behavioural Support Practitioner Lead will achieve this through a demonstrated professional and person-centred practice.

**Who are you and what will you bring?**

**Requirements of the position**
- Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent degree
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework Practitioner rating level of proficient, advanced or Specialist
- Child Safe Environments Through Your Eyes or Responding to Abuse and Neglect
- NDIS Quality, Safety and You Orientation Module
- Health Support Training
- An understanding of regulated restrictive practice
- Member of the DEAI (Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated) or an allied health professional body or association.
- Registration or willing to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission as a Behavioural Support Practitioner.
