We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in the remote accommodation villages at Narrabri and Boggabri in Regional NSW. The successful candidate will have a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens.

Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position on a two week on, one week off roster (10.5-hour days). As a Civeo Chef, you will assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions at the village during your swing, taking pride in providing excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bulk preparation and cooking of meals and functions
  • Assisting the kitchen team with meal service
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
  • Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings
  • Remote work experience highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
  • Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
