Job Description:

As a qualified chef, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions at the village during your swing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and provide excellent service to our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent) and experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens. You will also need to be competent in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings and have demonstrated experience working successfully in a team.

The successful candidate will be required to work day and/or night shifts as required and possess exceptional communication skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to adapt and work well under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent)
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
  • Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
  • Ability to work day and/or night shifts as required

  • Starting salary of $90k + 11.5% Superannuation (paid on all hours)
