Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to work in a high-end kitchen and develop their skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with dinner services, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with dinner services and events in the assigned section
  • Maintain operating and kitchen equipment to a good standard
  • Ensure hygiene standards and proper storage of dairy products, fish, meats, dry goods, and vegetables
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a Chef Apprenticeship
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery

You will also need:

  • Good hygiene and food safety knowledge
  • Safe and accurate knife skills
  • Experience with various cooking methods
