AML/CTF Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an AML/CTF Compliance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations.

About the Role:
  • Conduct thorough client due diligence, including reviewing and analyzing client documentation, risk screenings, identifying beneficial ownership, and undertaking open source research.
  • Identify and escalate potential higher-risk issues, and conduct enhanced client due diligence when additional risk factors are identified.
  • Monitor client relationships and transactions on an ongoing basis to identify and address changes and emerging AML/CTF risks, maintaining up-to-date records of client risk assessments and due diligence activities.
  • Interpret regulations and internal policies to support risk-based decisions while maintaining compliance with our AML/CTF program.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience in AML/CTF compliance or client due diligence is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AML/CTF risks in the legal services industry is desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
