Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an AML/CTF Lawyer.

This role will involve ensuring the organization remains compliant with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the creation, refinement, and execution of the AML/CTF compliance framework.

  • Lead and support the organization's adherence to AML/CTF legal obligations
  • Contribute to the creation, refinement, and execution of the AML/CTF compliance framework
  • Establish and maintain procedures for risk evaluation and reporting of suspicious activities
  • Advise on the enhancement of policies and systems for client and matter onboarding
  • Deliver training and provide strategic guidance on AML/CTF matters
  • Track the performance of the AML/CTF compliance program
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • In-depth knowledge of AML/CTF laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in AML/CTF compliance within a law firm
  • Proven ability to implement and manage AML/CTF policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with Risk & Compliance and Business Intake systems is advantageous
