Role Description

We are seeking an AML/CTF Specialist to join our team. This is a standalone role, based in our Barangaroo office. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across two dynamic businesses—stockbroking and OTC derivatives—within a highly respected joint program.

Your Key Responsibilities

">

You will be the primary point of contact for all business dealings with AUSTRAC. You will report regularly to relevant boards and senior management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Ensuring compliance with AML/CTF obligations for both businesses according to acts and rules.">
  • Monitoring relevant legislation, performing controls testing, conducting daily review and clearance of onboarding and transaction monitoring alerts, and logging AML/CTF incidents or breaches.">
  • Creation, implementation, and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and systems for AML/CTF compliance.">

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A thorough understanding of Australian AML/CTF acts and rules.">
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing relationships with AUSTRAC.">
  • Eligibility to work in Australia permanently.">
  • 3-5 years' experience as an AML/CTF Officer and a relevant tertiary qualification (business, law, economics etc.).">
