Overview

AML/CTF Compliance officer – Hicksons | Hunt & Hunt

We are looking for an experienced AML/CTF Officer to join the firm to ensure compliance with AML/CTF obligations. This newly created role is a key addition to the Operations team and will be responsible for creating the AML/CTF framework for the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Make sure the firm complies with its AML/CTF obligations according to both the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF Rules
  • Report regularly to the board and senior management regarding how the firm is meeting its obligations
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the AML/CTF program
  • Help create, implement and maintain internal policies, procedures and systems for AML/CTF compliance
  • Be the main point of contact for AUSTRAC
  • Have overall responsibility for the operation of the AML/CTF program
What you offer
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Law, Compliance, or related field
  • Solid experience in AML/CTF compliance
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of AML/CTF legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and report writing abilities
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • A commitment to meeting regulatory deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
