AML/CTF Specialist

As a specialized AML/CTF professional, you will be responsible for managing relationships with AUSTRAC and ensuring compliance with Australian regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for all business dealings with AUSTRAC, maintaining open lines of communication and resolving any issues promptly.
- Provide regular reports to senior management and relevant boards, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Monitor legislation and perform controls testing to ensure adherence to Australian AML/CTF acts and rules. Additionally, review and clear onboarding and transaction monitoring alerts in a timely manner, logging incidents or breaches accordingly.
- Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and systems for AML/CTF compliance, ensuring they are effective and up-to-date.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an AML/CTF Officer, accompanied by a relevant tertiary qualification (such as business, law, economics, etc.).
- Proven expertise in Australian AML/CTF acts and rules, with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with AUSTRAC, with a track record of successful collaboration and issue resolution.
- Eligibility to work in Australia permanently, allowing for long-term commitment to this role.
