About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments and providing effective treatments to patients with swallowing and communication difficulties.

You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, prioritize caseloads efficiently, and facilitate smooth discharge planning and community links.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Pathology assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Prioritize caseloads effectively to meet patient needs and manage workload efficiently.
  • Facilitate patient discharge planning and establish effective community links to promote continuity of care.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification that enables full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing adult patients with complex swallowing and communication challenges.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in supervising assistants and students, with a focus on professional development and mentorship.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $86,950 - $100,729 p.a. (pro rata), based on 30 hours per week.

Please note that this estimate may vary depending on individual circumstances and experience.
