About the Role

The SA Health is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join their Ambulatory Rehabilitation team in Southern Adelaide. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech pathology services to patients receiving supported early discharge and home rehabilitation.

You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team, other professionals, and organizations to plan and provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals. Your duties may include assessing patients' communication and/or swallowing abilities, devising therapy programs, and supervising therapy assistants.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to critically analyze issues related to speech pathology care and contribute to quality activities, service evaluation, professional education, or research.

About You

• An appropriate degree or diploma in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience as a clinician in the assessment and provision of high-quality rehabilitation to patients with complex communication and/or swallowing issues.
• Ability to provide clinical speech pathology services as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and critical thinking skills.
