About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Rehabilitation, Aged, and Palliative Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and treatments, managing caseloads, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct safe and effective Speech Pathology assessments and treatments within the Division.
  • Manage caseload efficiently, prioritising patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
  • Facilitate patient discharge and community links.
About You:
  • An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess adult patients with swallowing and communication problems and determine appropriate management and advice.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in supervising assistants and students.
