Rehabilitation Speech Pathologist Opportunity in Southern Adelaide

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Ambulatory Rehabilitation team at the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network's Flinders Medical Centre. The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech pathology services to patients receiving supported early discharge and home rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing patients' communication and swallowing abilities, problems, and goals using various formal and informal assessments, including instrumentation as needed.
- Devising therapy programs and supervising therapy assistants in their implementation of these.
- Providing speech pathology services to home, outreach, and telerehabilitation patients, utilizing a range of technologies including iPads, videoconferencing equipment, and therapeutic apps.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An appropriate degree or diploma in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Experience as a clinician in assessing and providing high-quality rehabilitation to patients with complex communication and swallowing issues or neurological, medical, or surgical origin.
- Ability to provide clinical speech pathology services as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to critically analyze or evaluate issues related to speech pathology care, applying your expertise to quality activities, service evaluation, professional education, or research.
- A competitive salary ranging from $88,255 to $102,240 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.
