Job Opportunity

The Commercial Account Manager position is a key role in driving business development, relationship management, and commercial success within the Pacific Islands territory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing business opportunities, as well as coordinating their implementation within the Infectious Diseases (ID) business unit.
  • Monitoring sales performance against assigned budgets and taking corrective actions to meet company business plans.
  • Representing the ID product portfolio and Abbott at local and regional sales and professional society meetings, congresses, and trade shows.
  • Providing end-to-end support for the customer journey, including installation, training, and regular follow-up to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Maintaining routine contact with key account stakeholders and coordinating necessary training and evaluations.
Requirements

For this challenging role, we seek an individual with:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing within a commercial healthcare organization.
  • A relevant medical or science degree qualification, or similar background knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
  • Demonstrated high-level sales performance and a history of developing business opportunities at senior levels within customer organizations.
  • Exposure and interaction with clinical and medical healthcare workers.
  • High-level attention to detail.
