Pacific Real Estate Lead

Job Overview

The Pacific Real Estate Lead oversees real estate investments, strategic advice, and research in the region.

This role is responsible for managing a large real estate portfolio to deliver strong returns by overseeing investments in direct real estate, commingled funds, co-investments, partnerships, secondaries, and REITs.

Risks will be managed appropriately through detailed investment underwriting, robust portfolio management, diversification, and ongoing monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain expert understanding of industry dynamics in the real estate asset class and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  2. Manage and grow a large real estate portfolio to deliver strong returns across various investment options.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with Investment Managers to gain access to research, market trends, and deal flow.
  4. Negotiate agreements to ensure favorable economics and risk mitigation.
  5. Partner with Operations Teams to monitor reporting and resolve issues.
  6. Lead team to ensure broad coverage of Real Estate Investment Managers across the Pacific region.
  7. Oversee team to proactively manage and maintain a list of potential and recommended managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • More than 10 years' experience in fund management or investment consulting and sales with a focus on private markets real estate in the Pacific region.
