Overview

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in critical communications and RF (Radio Frequency) technologies across the Asia region? This role is based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with regular travel across Asia to engage with key partners, customers and stakeholders.

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager, Asia Pacific with proven RF solution sales experience to drive growth in our North and Central Asia markets and maintain the strong market position in Southeast Asia. This role requires a commercially astute, self-motivated professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships and navigating a growth sales initiative. You\'ll be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with regular travel across Asia to engage with key partners, customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for the North and Central Asia region.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the RF technology sector, particularly in Public Safety, Transport, Mining, Telecommunications and / or industrial markets.
  • Manage existing accounts while driving new partnerships and revenue streams.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis and client need assessments.
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to provide tailored RF solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations.
  • Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows and customer meetings.
About you
  • Minimum 5 years of BDM experience in RF technology, RF components or RF systems.
  • Strong network and market knowledge in the Asia Pacific region, ideally in North and Central Asia.
  • Demonstrated success in complex B2B sales and strategic account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently across the Asia region.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in an Asian language (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus.
  • Background in engineering, electronics, or telecommunications highly regarded.
  • Prior experience in government or enterprise RF projects advantageous.
