Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forensic Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals who have complex needs and require tailored support.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and providing updates to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and clinical interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
  • Deliver treatment interventions, including individual and group sessions, as part of a collaborative team approach.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including treatment plans, risk assessments, and progress updates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Proven experience in working with individuals with complex needs, particularly those with histories of violent and sexual offending.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
