Forensic Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a specialist in this field, you will have the opportunity to work with complex cases and make a significant impact on reducing re-offending and making the community safer.

About the Role
  • You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.
  • Using the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • You will also provide clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
  • A current driver's license.
