About this opportunity

As a Psychologist Clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. Working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, you will deliver a wide range of individualised services including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and treatment programs.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments including risk evaluations to inform treatment decisions.
  • Carry out clinical interviews to determine suitable treatment pathways for clients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on treatment progress and risk assessment outcomes for stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Hold registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia or be eligible for registration.
  • Hold a current driver's license.
