Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs. We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

As a Forensic Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with a team of experts to deliver best-practice forensic intervention services in a correctional environment. Your primary focus will be on working with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, providing comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individualized interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, to determine appropriate treatment pathways
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions, including individual and group sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. You will also require a current driver's license.
