We hold portfolios and expertise in critical areas such as Violent Extremism, Restorative Justice and Family Violence.We're seeking experienced professionals in psychology to join our team of forensic clinicians.

Gain exposure to national and international experts in forensic work.Enjoy mental health and wellbeing care - essential debriefing for the first 12 months for new forensic practitioners.Be supervised by senior clinical staff with support on a day-to-day basis.Grow with ongoing professional development including clinical scholarship, research program and study leave opportunities.Network at our annual Leadership Forum and Conference for technical and professional development.Have your AHPRA membership funded annually.What you'll doAs a forensic clinician, you will build on your existing expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence based, best-practice forensic intervention in a supportive correctional environment.Working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, you'll deliver a wide range of individualised services including:Comprehensive assessments including risk assessments.Clinical interviews to develop person centred rehabilitation pathways.Treatment interventions employing evidence-based assessment tools.Treatment programs involving individual and group sessions.Preparing treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.Travel to correctional facilities is a required part of the role so you will need to possess a current driver's licence.To apply, you'll need to hold, or be eligible for, general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include national police checks and misconduct screening.
