Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients with physical disabilities, including transfers, use of equipment, and hoisting.
- Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, and provide emotional support to clients.
- Work collaboratively with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals, to support clients in achieving their goals and living great lives.
- Have a strong focus on safety and risk management, ensuring the well-being of clients at all times.
- Be willing to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and be flexible with your availability.
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, including transfers, use of equipment, and hoisting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and risk management.
- Full driver's license and willingness to provide transport for clients, with reimbursement for costs.
