About the Role

CareChoice is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Warrnambool area. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality services and safeguards to our clients with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our clients with complex care requirements, including 24-hour complex supports, supported independent living, community access and transport, and domestic and personal care.
  • Implement behavioural strategy supports and build rapport with our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Requirements

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Certificate IV in Disability.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with clients that have complex care requirements.
  • Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
