About the Role

CareChoice is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Greater Geelong area.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality services and safeguards to our clients with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting participants with physical and behavioural conditions
  • Building on individual strengths and enabling participants to reach their goals
  • Providing 24-hour complex supports, supported independent living, community access and transport, and domestic and personal care

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Certificate IV in Disability
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with clients that have complex care requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle

Employment with CareChoice is subject to satisfactory background checks, including Professional References, Employee Working with Children Check, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
