Key Responsibilities- Managing the cash and liquidity of a large complex organisation to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Collaborating with NSW Health entities, Ministry of Health branches, and other government agencies to develop effective financial strategies.
- Improving legacy processes and systems to streamline financial reporting and cash flows.
- A practical understanding of the NSW Health system, particularly in relation to financial management, finance systems, accounting, and funding requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing financial reporting processes and cash flows of a large complex organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance or a related discipline and full professional membership of an accredited Australian professional accounting body.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with key stakeholders to drive financial success.
Fundamental Requirements:
- Financial Management: Understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Accounting: Knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and auditing practices.
