About The Role
We are currently seeking a
Financial Governance & Reporting Manager
to join our high-performing Finance team on a
Full-time basis
. In this role, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to lead the development and implementation of financial policies that align with both business goals and regulatory requirements. You will also manage key risk and compliance initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders on major business projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development & Implementation:
- Manage the full process of creating, reviewing, and implementing financial and organisational policies, including those related to expenses, credit cards, delegations, and vehicle use.
- Ensure policies remain aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements, and are communicated effectively through training, user guides, and system workflows
Bid and Tender Submission
- Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure fairness, achievability, and alignment with organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on complex or high-risk contracts requiring specialist interpretation or advice
- Oversee tender processes, ensuring all contractual documents meet compliance and organisational standards.
- Identify potential contractual risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
Monitor and Manage Compliance Risks:
- Proactively identify compliance risks related to financial processes and business operations. Work with stakeholders to implement improvements and preventive measures.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of business operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Issue Resolution & Investigation:
- Lead fair and thorough investigations into policy breaches. Engage with relevant staff to understand the context, gather facts, and document findings clearly.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in policy, systems, and internal processes to drive greater accountability, efficiency, and compliance across the business.
Operational Compliance & Support
- Monitor and support compliance with company policies related to banking, insurance, property, and asset management.
- Oversee bank account controls, insurance renewals and claims, and ensure property and asset records are accurate and up to date.
Training and Collaboration:
- Provide ongoing guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures to promote awareness and accountability across the organisation.
- Foster strong working relationships with People & Culture and other business units to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance practices, training, and policy implementation

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk, compliance, audit, or finance, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and governance frameworks
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualified (preferred), ideally obtained through experience in an external audit or internal risk/compliance environment
- Prior experience in a professional services firm (e.g. audit, risk advisory, governance consulting) or corporate compliance function is highly regarded
- Demonstrated adaptability to evolving business needs and ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing varied responsibilities concurrently
