Club Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Club Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our club, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate their team to deliver exceptional results. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, members and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of sales budgets and analysis to determine proactive strategies for improvement
  • Proactive contribution to our sales targets
  • Management of our projected and actual Profit and Loss levels
  • Leading in the delivery of exceptional member experiences and the successful resolution of member concerns
  • Recruitment, training and retention of staff members
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 and team meetings with departmental leaders
  • Annual performance appraisals

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Leadership experience managing a sales team with 5+ direct/indirect reports in a high volume and fast paced environment. Ideally within the fitness industry
  • Strong stakeholder management with exceptional verbal, written and time management skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and monitoring & reporting on P&L
  • Ability to engage and inspire a diverse team across club operations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A current valid Working with Children Check
