Specialist Regulatory Professional for Financial Services

This challenging opportunity enables you to work with Australia's prominent superannuation funds, wealth platforms, life insurers, banks, and other financial services providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients on regulatory projects and transformation initiatives.
- Assist clients in responding to investigations and prosecutions, including APRA and ASIC proceedings.
- Advise on superannuation fund mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with the Mergers and Acquisitions team on transactions in the financial services area.
- Provide guidance on financial services regulatory obligations, including licensing, disclosure, and conduct requirements.
- Prepare and negotiate various commercial agreements, such as outsourcing and distribution arrangements.
- Experience advising superannuation and/or financial services clients on a range of regulatory matters is essential.
- Private practice experience working in a specialist superannuation and/or financial services regulatory team is preferred.
- Excellent academics and legal analysis, writing, and communication skills are necessary.
- A desire to specialise in superannuation and financial services regulatory work is key.
