Financial Services Regulatory Specialist

The role involves collaborating with a specialist team in Sydney and Melbourne to gain exposure to complex regulatory work. You will work closely with partners and the wider team on superannuation and broader financial services matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting clients with high-stakes regulatory projects;
- Helping clients respond to regulatory investigations and prosecutions;
- Advising on superannuation fund mergers;
- Working with M&A teams on transactions in the financial services area;
- Advising clients on their financial services regulatory obligations;
- Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience advising superannuation and/or other financial services clients on regulatory matters;
- Private practice experience in a specialist regulatory team;
- Desire to specialise in superannuation and financial services regulatory work;
- Excellent academics and legal analysis, writing, and communication skills;
- Desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
