About Us
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Superannuation and Financial Services Regulatory Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a challenging and rewarding career path.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising superannuation and other financial services clients on a range of regulatory matters, including core experience advising on the SIS Act, APRA Prudential Standards, Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act and the ASIC Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on their most important regulatory and transformation projects;
- Assisting clients to respond to regulatory investigations and prosecutions, including APRA and ASIC proceedings;
- Working with our M&A team on transactions in the financial services area;
- Advising clients on their financial services regulatory obligations, including licensing, disclosure and conduct obligations;
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience advising superannuation and/or other financial services clients (wealth platforms, life insurers, and/or banks) on a range of regulatory matters;
- Private practice experience working in a specialist superannuation and/or financial services regulatory team;
- A desire to specialise in superannuation and financial services regulatory work;
- Excellent academics and legal analysis, writing and communication skills;
- A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others;
