Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered support to clients, empowering them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Daily Living Tasks
    • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, household management, and transportation.
  • Recreational Activities and Social Events
    • Accompany clients to recreational activities and social events, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
    • Assist clients with planning and coordinating recreational activities and social events.
  • Behaviour Support and Planning
    • Develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote positive behaviours and reduce challenging behaviours.
    • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Requirements
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or a similar field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
