Quality Assurance Officer Job Description

Our company is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support the QA/QC Manager in ensuring raw materials, production processes, and finished goods meet quality standards. This role involves monitoring compounding and production lines, inspecting incoming raw materials and packaging, conducting in-process and finished goods checks, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compounding and production lines to ensure specifications are met.
  • Inspect and approve incoming raw materials and packaging against standards and specifications.
  • Conduct in-process and finished goods checks, including labelling, weights, and batch coding.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC records, production logs, and product information sheets.
  • Support testing activities, including microbiological and stability testing.
  • Assist in investigations for deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, Laboratory, and Management teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in QA or manufacturing (FMCG/cosmetics experience highly regarded).
  • Degree in Science/Technology is desirable but not essential.
